To Run Free

Noah & I spent some time at the church yesterday.
He went to prayer with me for a bit. We played in the nursery.
Then we headed outside together.

I love watching my son run around.
He runs so free. He runs with enthusiasm.
The way God created him to run.
He goes after what he wants.
 Pursuing what makes him happy.
He stays focused on his goal to get to where he wants to be.
Looking at these pictures reminds me that even when life can get hard & get us off track from what God desires our lives to be, we should just pick up & run free again towards our goal.I love that God is using my 2 year old to remind me of who he is to me. The Lord is working in me through my son.
We had a great time walking together collecting pinecones, sticks, and lots of leaves.
All the while holding hands. Every now and then he would stop to hug my legs.
To tell me that he loves me or to give me kisses.
Little boys are so precious and so sweet.

I love taking time out of my agenda to find what makes Noah come alive & be happy. Again, God continues to remind me that it is okay to run after what makes me happy, fuels my passion, and to pursue the dreams that he's given me in life. Are you running after yours?
Happy Friday!

  1. Sorry if you get a duplicate comment! I couldn't tell if my last comment went through or not. :) But I love these pictures! Those beautiful trees are one thing I miss about living in east Tx. We don't have pine trees here in the city. :(
