The Closet Office

Pinterest Inspiration.
Have you seen these cute little closet offices floating around lately?
Here are two of my favorites!

If you follow me on Pinterest, you might have noticed all the crazy pinning to my "Guest Room/Office" Board. Over the weekend we cleared out Noah's room & moved him into the former guest/craft room. The closet in the now guest room is PERFECT for a closet office. All of my craft things were taking over the guest room & was getting out of control.
It is time to re-evaluate & de-clutter.
I've been wanting to switch the rooms for a while now & over the last 2 weeks have been clearing out closets & rooms to start the process.
We made four separate trips to local thrift shops to donate so many things. I considered having a garage sale, but to be honest I would rather donate. Each time we donate nice things that we just dont need or use anymore, the Lord always blesses us. Every time.

Something cool, we traded our queen size bed (that was in the guest room) with a friend, for her twin size. How awesome is that? This will leave me plenty of room to make the room exactly the way I want it.
Oh, this little guy. He truly stops my heart.
He wasn't too sure about switching rooms,
but he's pretty easy going & is doing fine with it.

The progress of the room is slowly coming together. I'm hoping by February it will be finished. I am so excited about having a place to create that is more confined to one spot. I truly believe it is vital to your well-being to have a creative spot in your home. A place that you can just get lost in, without any distractions.
To write. Make things. Create. Dream.

So if you have an office closet or a guest room that functions in two ways, please leave a comment with a link. Or send me an email. Always enjoy hearing from you.
Happy Tuesday Friends.

  1. I am SOOO excited to see how this turns out! I actually did a post very similar last year.. but, we weren't actually redoing a room. We just knew that we'd probably, eventually be in a home with not a whole lot of space to have a craft room. And, yes, that little man of yours is pretty handsome!
