This morning my heart is overwhelmed with excitement about something I have been wanting to share with everyone for a while now. Let me tell you about,
I've had a blog for a few years now but really just blogged for my family to keep up with our lives. About 6 months ago, I really began to enjoy blogging. At that time the Lord placed it on my heart to share my personal testimony of redemption, restoration, freedom, and joy that I have found in Jesus. Click here or directly above on the tab, A Love Story to read how faithful the Lord has been to me in my life & how radically different my life is today than it was six years ago.
As I began to share my story of God's grace in my life so many of you began to email me & leave comments to encourage me as I shared my story. I really appreciate your emails & messages more than you will ever know. It began to give me complete freedom & confidence to share my story even more.
The Lord began to speak to my heart to invite women to share their stories of God's goodness in their lives on These Happy Times. There is so much power in a testimony! My heart is that as each woman shares her story that another will find encouragement. At first I was nervous as I began to ask women to share, simply because I thought they might not be interested. I was mistaken.
I'm so excited that starting next month, every Tuesday a lovely lady will be sharing a story of God's goodness in her life. I'm so thankful for the women who will be sharing. I know that you will be encouraged & blessed! These women are moms, bloggers, friends, daughters, students, missionaries, musicians, teachers, wives, business owners, and believers in Jesus Christ.
Why, Now Rejoice?
During the time in my life when I was completely
broken the one scripture that captured my heart was
"Oh, Give me back my joy again;
you have broken me - now let me rejoice."
This scripture means so much to me & truly describes how I felt during that dark time of my life. I literally was so broken that I didn't know who I was, where I was going, or how to function. I began to cry out to God, to restore my joy again! Truly, the joy I have today I never thought was possible.
Please share Now Rejoice with anyone & everyone!
My heart is that as each woman shares a story from her life that another will find hope & encouragement in Jesus.
I am truly so excited about the sweet women who will be sharing their hearts soon! Get excited with us! Next week I will have a grab button & a few other fun things to help advertise Now Rejoice!
Happy Tuesday! I'd love to hear from you!
