A Place to Start.

to say the last month of life has been a bit overwhelming would be the understatement of my life.
As crazy & intense that life has been the Lord has been with us every step of the way. He has done some incredible things in our lives that I can not wait to share here. God has proven himself to be faithful & true in powerful ways that I will forever look back on in complete amazement. Spiritually, financially, and physically (with my health) he has been shown himself so real in our lives.

As much as I want to jump right in sharing stories of his faithfulness I'll find a place to start here.

She is beautiful, wonderful, and my daily glimpse of love, faith, grace, and healing.

 life has been a wonderful beautiful blur of a journey. Parts I wish somehow to relive again & others I'm so grateful to have lived through. I am so ready to share everything here very soon. God is good, gracious, and faithful friends. Never believe otherwise. Happy Tuesday.

Baby Shower for Olivia

Earlier this month my friend LeAnn & my sister Jen gave Olivia & myself a lovely shower. It was great to have all the sweet ladies in my life together in one place, friends from in town & out of town. My friend Kayla & my mom also were able to make the drive up for the weekend too. I was really bad about taking pictures at the shower and snapped a group picture at the end but wish I would have taken it earlier before everyone left. Something else special about the weekend, it was the first time I've been able to meet in person my littlest niece, Eisley. Even though it was a quick visit I'm so happy & thankful I got to spend just a little time with them. 

Olivia was blessed with all kinds of pretty things during the shower. Including one of the cutest diaper cakes & a beautiful crochet blanket. There was also a headband making station (as you know I love making little headbands for Olivia) and a place for ladies to write encouraging messages for diaper changes. It was such a fun time to sit around, talk, and open gifts for this sweet girl of ours. We definitely have been blessed with so many things for her & we are so thankful.

Now if only we can get her room put together! :)

Oh, Hey There

Hey Friends! It has been a while since I've said hello from here & I've missed it. Life has been a little crazy and I decided to take a break from blogging until the time was right to come back again. I can never stay gone too long because the community here is so precious & genuine. Also, I enjoy sharing pieces from life with everyone & growing with others. 

Over the last two months my hubby has done quite a bit of traveling, Nashville for a mission trip, then Haiti, and last week Noah & him went to Nebraska to visit with family. Sadly, this lady had to stay home from all of these fun adventures because I've been on a sweet adventure of my own. Keeping our baby girl safe & sound. This pregnancy has presented many challenges preventing me from being allowed to travel. So I've stayed put with our little guy & his sweet sister. Perhaps I'll share more about my pregnancy later but for now with the help of Instagram here is a little update from the last two months.

I've been growing a bit ;)

my hubby in Haiti. So sad I didn't get to go with him on this trip but we plan to go back next year! We definitely have a heart for Haiti & love seeing all the beautiful things the Lord is doing within the people of this country. It is impossible to visit Haiti & not be filled - over flowing - with a deeper love & understanding of our savior & heavenly father.

I'm loving making sweet little things for our daughter.

I've been loving these two boys so very much!

The Cravings

Oh Pregnancy. 

The truth is I truly enjoy being pregnant, even though I'm the type whose hormones are very affected. Immediately I experience lots of nausea, throwing up, fatigue, and I crave random things! All that jazz. But I LOVE it. Even with all the sickness I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm just so happy that I have another chance to be pregnant again. 

With this pregnancy I've been craving a few things that are out of the normal for me. Things that I ate sometimes but not like I have been. The two most unusual things for me have been bacon & tuna fish. Really I've been wanting fish in general. Unfortunately tuna & fish are one of the things that have to be eaten in moderation while pregnant. Bummer. 

So, mommas when you are pregnant what do you find yourself craving?

On Wednesday we learned our little one is a baby girl.
